I offer faith-based counseling for clients seeking a Christian perspective in their counseling experience.
I am a licensed counselor in Texas (#64993) with experience since 2009, specializing in children (ages 2 and up), teens, adults, couples, and families. I am also certified as a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor. My extensive postgraduate training includes various evidence-based modalities like Eye Movement Desensitization (EMDR) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), . Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, and other creative techniques such as sandtray. Additionally, I provide clinical supervision for aspiring play therapists and professional counseling interns and associates.
Counseling sessions typically last 50-55 minutes, but can vary based on client needs. I also offer 90-minute sessions on some weekends for those seeking additional support. You should plan for an hour and travel time to/fro for in person visits. It is highly recommended that new clients attend weekly for the first 6-8 sessions for best treatment outcomes. Even though counseling occurs during session, the transforming effects often occur in after your sessions.

- Non-network TRICARE Authorized provider (Prime and Standard plans accept with member deductible/cost share)
Check your network to be sure I am a provider for your plan. Out of Network benefits may apply for situations when I am not in your insurance network.
While insurance may provide a discounted cost per session, it does require a psychiatric diagnosis to be filed with your claim and this become as a part of your Permanent Health Information record. Unfortunately, providers cannot guarantee how insurances choose to use such information about their members. For this reason, many clients and parents opt to self-pay. Feel free to discuss this with if you have questtions.
